MARCH 2020
From Monday 23rd March 2020 we will only be open to children of keyworker parents - this is due to the Covid-19 crisis.

FEBRUARY 2020
We are pleased to report that our new Buzz! Club room (for years 4,5 & 6) is now open and proving to be very popular with the children!
JANUARY 2020
Our new Buzz! Club room will be opening shortly - just waiting on the finishing touches!
SEPT 2019
We are now operating under our new name of 'Beehive & Buzz! Childcare CIC'. All profits made will still be reinvested in the setting to the benefit of the children, parents and staff.
JULY 2019
We would like to wish our children starting 'Big' School in September the best of luck for the future - it has been a pleasure getting to know you all over the past few years - wave to us when you go past - and perhaps we will still see some of you at Buzz! Club.
22nd January 2019
Today saw the start of our building work to create an extra space for our older children at afterschool club - this will enable us to provide them with enhanced facilities, more age related resources, a quiet homework area, games area, craft area and a chill out area to watch DVD's or listen to music.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
This will take place on Friday 14th December 2018 in the Key Stage 1 Hall in the Infant School. We are hoping that Father Christmas will be able to visit us and there will be fun and games, a disco and picnic style snack. All children are invited between 10.00am - 1pm and parents/carers, friends and relatives are invited to a short carol concert from 12.40pm.
WEDNESDAY 31ST OCTOBER 2018
We are pleased to announce that our play and stay session 'BUMBLES' will restart on this day. All parents/carers with children aged between 0 - 4yrs are invited to join us for a chat, activities, singing etc. This session is free and you do not need to book in advance - just turn up on the day!
OCT 18
We now have our new room, based in the main school building, up and running for our 3-4 year olds in the morning sessions, and our children of Reception age and younger at Buzz Club until 4.30 each evening (they then join the group in our main building.
Sept 18
Welcome back to our New Term, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new families.
Our theme for term 5 will be 'Spring & Growth'
End of term party and graduation
This will take place on Wednesday 13th July 2016 - letters will go out with full details nearer to the date.
Rising 5's
These sessions for the children that will be starting school in September 2016 will commence on Monday 18th April 2016 and children will attend these sessions on either a Monday or Tuesday afternoon.
Easter Bonnets - April 2016
There was a spectacular array of bonnets entered into our competition this year, all the children that entered received a chocolate bunny and our three winners received an Easter Egg.
Our Graduation and end of term party will take place on Thursday 16th July 2015 - please see letters for full details (or ask a member of staff).
DE Photos will again be in attendance and will take photographs of your child that you can purchase and take away with you on the day - please remember to bring cash or card with you!
School visits have started for those children who are starting Cuxton school in September. These take place on a Thursday afternoon, if you are unable to take your child please let us know and we can arrange to take them over and collect them for you.
A group of approximately 52 adults and children visited Wildwood on Tuesday 23rd June 2015 and had a lovely time, there were lots of animals to see and a large play park for a picnic.
We are please to announce that our building work is now complete. The children have been using the new toilets in Bumble Room and we hope to open our new room 'The Hive' as soon as it is furnished.
Rising 5 sessions will be starting, for the children starting school in September 2015, on Monday 20th April 2015. These sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
Our Theme for Term 5 (starting on 20th April 2015) will be Sea and Summer - we will be looking at sea creatures, boats, beaches, holidays, weather, myths etc.

Due to the commencement of our Building improvement work, Bumbles - our stay and play group has been suspended until September 2015. Watch this space for date of re-launch!!
Don't forget to take part in our Easter Bonnet and Hat competition - to be judged on Friday 27th March 2015
Our theme for the new term starting on Tuesday 6th January 2015 will be 'Nursery Rhymes and Winter'

Our Christmas raffle tickets are now on sale - to be drawn on Friday!!!!!
Our Beehive Playgroup Christmas party will take place on Thursday 11th December 2014. Look out for letter giving full details.

OCTOBER HOLIDAY
Bookings now being taken for October School Holidays. We are open daily from Monday 27th October to Monday 3rd November 2014 (inclusive) for BUZZ CLUB - Bookings now being taken.

GOOD LUCK
Good Luck to all our children who will be starting school in September 2014. Our Graduation and end of term party was held in July - photographs by DE Photo can be viewed and/or purchased. (ask Manager Jan for details).
We raised £77.10 on our stall at the Big Lunch, £15.00 of this will be going to the Skate Park funds (as requested by Big Lunch organizers) the rest will be spent on resources for the children that attend our setting. Owen won the sweets in the jar competition, with a guess of 319 - there were 318 sweets in the jar! Well guessed Owen - enjoy your prize!
BEEHIVE & BUZZ CLUB will be having a stall at the Big Lunch on Sunday 1st June 2014 - please come along and find us!!!!!!! Lots of fun activities on the stall to win prize.
FEB 14
More new storage has arrived for Cuckoo Room. Tickets will shortly be available for our Easter Raffle, a new newsletter is currently going out to all children.
IMPROVEMENTS
The second stage of our building improvements have now taken place. Our new office was completed over the Easter Holidays and our new fully fitted kitchen and playroom flooring was installed in August. We are now awaiting delivery of some new storage for Cuckoo Room, followed by the purchase of some new equipment for our children.
